Work and Feiras (Farmers Market)

Work has been good! I actually enjoy everyone I've worked with thus far and look forward to going to the office everyday. I work with an amazing group of women; they are extremely professional and very smart people.  One of them thinks it's kind of depressing that the highlight of my non-professional week is going to the farmers' market (known as feiras here) on Thursdays! She's probably right...the highlight of our social calendar should be some fun outing or cultural event, but we haven't done much as far as that's concerned. However, we enjoy going to the street market to buy our fresh fruits and veggies. We already know most of the vendors and they know us. We end up sampling so much fruit that I don't even need a full breakfast on Thursdays! If you have a look at the huge cauliflower below, you might understand what we mean...
