On my way back to the office last Friday after giving a presentation at a local university, I found myself stuck in traffic with a very chatty taxi driver. It was a very informative sixty-minute ride...I was asking him about traffic in that area (where I'd never been before) and how bad it usually got at that time of day. He said it was unusually slow but he was sure there was a vehicle on the bridge causing the problem. He proceeded to tell me that the 'city truck' would push it out of the way soon enough. What do you mean push? Will they bring a tow truck? No, no, there's no room for that, he answers. They will push it out of the way. I was thankful for my iPhone and its handy camera, for there it was 1/2 a mile ahead...a pick up truck pushing the broken/stalled car out of the way.
Notice the tire attached to the front of the pickup truck!
