Chilling out with chilled bubbles...

After a long week, Ernie met me at our favorite spot to enjoy a well-deserved chilled bottle of sparkling wine! Although we still miss our favorite wine shop in Columbia, SC, it's nice to have a place to hang out around here where everyone knows your name.

This is a great cafe/bar/restaurant kind of place; we have breakfast there every weekend but Ernie actually enjoys their breakfast and/or lunch much more often. This is the same spot where they came to his rescue when he cut his finger on one of their chairs. Needless to say, thanks to Ernie, the chairs don't fold out anymore. They've been permanently fastened! The kids who work there are great; they have told me they'll keep an eye on Ernie during the week when I am not around...so sweet:-)
